Nottingham Cine Films

Past Lives Project worked in Nottingham from July 2014 to December 2014

During that time we asked local residents to donate their local cine films of the region. The project funding from Arts Council England & Heritage Lottery Fund enabled us to digitise and edit these home movies; film editor and artist Anthony Hatton worked with these films to create a new film Past Lives Nottingham with live music score by Dave Sturt, Chris Ellis and young musicians. If you would like to buy a copy of Past Lives Nottingham Past Lives fill out this form or contact us via Facebook/Past Lives Project  or info@pastlivesproject.com

Over the next few months we’ll be adding more of the local digitised cine films that were used to make the Past Lives Project Nottingham film, check back into this space for more films.

  1. Footage of a Bartons ‘Road Cruise’ in a 1956 AEC Reliance, one of a batch of 10 identical vehicles bought that year. On e of these vehicles still resides at Bartons – URR 865, the ‘Ghost Bus’.
