Bolsover & Carr Vale Cine Films

Past Lives Project worked in Bolsover & Carr Vale from November 2013 to July 2014

During that time we asked local residents to donate their cine films of Bolsover, Carr Vale and surrounding areas. The project funding from Arts Council England & Heritage Lottery Fund enabled us to digitise and edit these home movies; film editor and artist Anthony Hatton worked with these films to create a new film Past Lives Bolsover with live music score by Dave Sturt, Chris Ellis and young musicians from Bolsover School. So many people have welcomed us into their homes to share their family films and the memories that they hold. Its such a pleasure to enable people to see films, which in many cases may not have been viewed for decades” – Anthony Hatton Past Lives Project Film Editor
